 Critique of Carmen The opera house I watched is Carmen (2010, In Metropolitan Opera). It was key of the most famous operas through the world. It was written by Georges Bizet (1838-1875). The cover is between a passionate Romany girl Carmen and a frank solider Don Jose. He abandoned the peace-loving animation with his kind fiancée Michaela, and then fell in bonk with the attractive girl Carmen. But finally, their different experience and sentience leaded to a tragedy: Jose killed Carmen and the end of have it off. Carmen was acted by Elina Garanca, a famous mezzo-soprano singer. I think her performance in Carmen was remarkable. Her vox is unique and sounds like that she has a wide and entreat throat. So she made the sound smooth and glossy. Her beautiful permeate not only made Carmen charming and attractive, barely besides wild and strong. I very appreciate her breathe. Her breathe is slushy and regular. I underside observe the movement of her chest and sto mach. Her say was full of strength. She croup make the tone very high and I think she used her head example on the plainlyton not chest voice. Head voice is what we need to learn. Its amazing because it prat make the voice high but in like manner loud! And we cant sense of quality the spite with the throat. Beside the Garances singing skill, her performance in this opera is excellent.

She utilise herself in this show and made the character Carmen rather vivid. We can feel her sorrows, joys and her enthusiastic personality. But we also can feel the tragic fate of Carmen and her love. Don Jose is acted by Bran don Jovanovich. He is a tenor singer. I thin! k his performance was also brilliant. His voice is steady and not too strong. Sometimes, its comfortable and slow. We can see his struggle through his singing. Joses peaceful behavior was ruined by Carmen. He abandoned his amiable fiancée and normal moral rules to fall in love with Carmen. When Carmen changed her head teacher to love the other man, we can run across the anger and the sadness through Brandons performance.
